Lillianlee Headshot 02 Square 1024x1024

Senior Designer. Illustrator. Small-thing enthusiast.

Hi, I’m Lillian. I’m a Boston-based creative and MassArt BFA who believes the best design is always solved through a human lens.

By day, I lead the brand evolution at WBUR, making sure our visual identity hits as hard as our journalism — whether that’s on a digital screen, in print, or at live events. But my storytelling doesn’t stop at the office. Every two weeks, you can find my comic strips in Sampan Newspaper, where I get to tell stories about community, identity, and the little things that connect us.

I’ve had the chance to manage some pretty big-deal IPs like Disney and Star Wars, but I’m just as happy with a set of oil pastels in my hand. Whether I’m working with traditional media or building out a digital brand, I try to bring that same sense of craft to everything I touch.

I’m at my best when I’m collaborating with people who value thoughtful execution and a good sense of humor. When I’m not at my desk, I’m likely reading the latest Ali Hazelwood novel or playing Backstreet Boys’ “I Want It That Way” on the piano.

“Again, no more tilapia in the microwave, ok? it smells like a mermaid gave birth in here and I think we all deserve better.”
