Heroic Design: Navigating the DC Universe with Warner Bros.

Collaborating with Warner Bros. to integrate the DC Comics roster into the Mimoco ecosystem was a masterclass in legendary brand stewardship. My role involved working in tandem with their licensing team to ensure that icons like Batman, Superman, and Wonder Woman maintained their heroic integrity while adapting to our unique product platform.

This was a true 360-degree creative challenge that spanned the entire product lifecycle:

  • Character Translation: Adapting complex comic book aesthetics into the minimalist MIMOBOT form factor without losing the “soul” of the hero.
  • Retail Experience: Designing impactful packaging and Point of Purchase (POP) displays that stood out in a crowded collector’s market.
  • Environmental Design: Crafting large-scale tradeshow and exhibition spaces that transformed the brand into an immersive experience for fans.
  • Integrated Marketing: Leading the digital charge through cohesive email marketing, social campaigns, and promotional print materials.

Managing this line required a deep respect for DC’s storied history and a sharp eye for modern product trends—ensuring that every flash drive felt like a collectible piece of the DC Multiverse.
