In 2012, Mimoco expanded its “Legends of MIMOBOT” series with the release of a figure that defined a genre: Bruce Lee. As the second legendary figure to join the collection, the goal was to capture the philosopher-martial artist’s fierce energy and iconic aesthetic within our signature tech canvas.
Designing for the Bruce Lee estate required a deep respect for his legacy. I focused on translating his unmistakable charisma and classic “Game of Death” visual cues into a stylized form that resonated with both lifelong fans and new collectors. This project was more than just a product release; it was an exercise in heritage branding, ensuring that a global icon felt right at home in the modern world of designer technology.
