In the summer of 2008, Ford launched a groundbreaking campaign to introduce the Ford Fiesta to a new generation of drivers. As part of their “Fiesta Movement” missions, they partnered with Mimoco to create a custom MIMOBOT that captured the spirit of the vehicle’s launch.
This project was an exciting exercise in corporate brand integration. The challenge was to translate the sleek, modern aesthetic of an automotive rollout into a pocket-sized collectible. I focused on incorporating the vibrant energy of the Fiesta campaign into the character design, creating a functional piece of tech that served as both a promotional tool and a high-demand piece of brand memorabilia.
It was a unique opportunity to see how experiential marketing can be enhanced through tactile, well-designed products that fans actually want to keep and use.
