For over forty years, Schylling, Inc. has been a leader in creating timeless, high-quality toys. I had the pleasure of collaborating with their design team to develop “Little Miss Meow,” an original character-driven tea set that blends classic play patterns with a modern, charming aesthetic.
My role focused on the character illustration and surface design, ensuring the personality of “Little Miss Meow” translated beautifully across the porcelain-inspired forms of the set. The challenge was to create a visual narrative that felt both fresh and heirloom-worthy—a signature of the Schylling brand. It was a wonderful exercise in product storytelling, where the artwork doesn’t just decorate the object but invites children into a world of imagination.
