When we launched MimoPowerTube, the goal was to bring Mimoco’s signature “pop culture-infused” DNA to a new category of portable batteries. This wasn’t just about adding a logo to a gadget; it was about building a cohesive product ecosystem from the ground up.
As the lead designer on this line, I managed the full creative lifecycle:
- Original Character Design: Developing new, proprietary characters specifically for the Tube form factor.
- Collaborative Direction: Partnering with guest artists to translate their unique styles onto our product platform.
- Comprehensive Branding: Crafting a vibrant color story, custom iconography, and patterns that defined the line’s visual language.
- Retail Presence: Designing window-box packaging that maximized shelf appeal and highlighted the character-tech fusion.
