It’s always exciting to see your work out in the wild – especially when it’s a full-page ad in the Sunday Boston Globe!
I just finished up the print ad for the 2026 WBUR Festival, and it was a great way to kick off the spring. The design features a first look at the lineup for this year’s event, which is shaping up to be incredible.

The festival returns to the Boston University campus on Friday, May 29, and Saturday, May 30. We’re bringing together some heavy hitters for live conversations and podcast tapings, including:
- Bryan Stevenson (Civil rights attorney and author, Just Mercy)
- Celeste Ng (Author, Little Fires Everywhere)
- José Andrés (Chef & Founder of World Central Kitchen)
- Katherine Maher (CEO, NPR)
- Dr. Vivek Murthy (Former Surgeon General of the U.S.)
- Samantha Power (Former U.S. Ambassador to the U.N.)
- Marty Baron (Former Editor, The Washington Post & The Boston Globe)
- John Bolton (Former U.S. Ambassador to the U.N.)
- Jeni Britton (Founder, Jeni’s Ice Cream)
Designing for print always has its own set of unique challenges, but I’m really happy with how the colors and typography popped on the page. It’s a “love letter to Boston,” and I wanted the visuals to feel just as vibrant as the city itself.
If you missed it in the paper, you can check out the full schedule and grab tickets over at wbur.org/festival. Hope to see you there!
